Have used the following wesbite to check warranty availability for work for the last year or 2.  When I enter the serial NUmber, I get the follwoing error: "Unable to access the system at this time."

The website that has previously worked is: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/weNoResults?tmp_weCountry=us&tmp_weSerial=MXL1520S0C&tmp_weProduct=BK090&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en

the following websites for the same thing:

www.support.hp.com/checkwarranty

Re: HP Z600 CPU compatibility; Boot Block Date 01/30/09

I would rather use a standard build but these are so expensive in the Netherlands. And buying them abroad is still expensive due to the shipping costs.

I can't seem to find the posts you mention about the motherboards with the serial numbers. I've got some info about the Z600 motherboard:

$_85.JPG

(open the photo in a new tab to see the larger version)

I think the important number is AS#460840-002

What I've found there are 3 versions, -001, -002 and -003. How can I find out what boot block date this -002 is?

Another question, what do I need to get the HP Z600 BIOS started?

- motherboard

- Power (PSU)

- Graphics card

- I guess CPU?

- Does the CPU need to have a heatsink to only boot into the BIOS?

- Does it need to have RAM installed?

We have problems to deploy a previously captured image from a T520(cached imaging) to the same T520(i'm testing the deployment). The date time is correct on the server and the image. I already tried a sent update agent, which succeeded.

Here below you can find the log of the error

Hi Excedrin,

Your right, The file name doesn't need to include the /, Windows says:

The "Request Content Error" Looks like it can't request the files in the folder.

Try to remove the / but not the other \.

Thanks for the reply - where is that field with the \/ in it editable? The error message in my screenshot is not editable fields. And the Tools->Repository Management->highlight master repository in list, press edit-> shows this.

If there are text or registry files to edit, I haven't found them yet. Thanks for the help! Smiley Happy

Hi Excedrin,

I can't see the screenshots:

Was this a laptop bought new or an old refurbished one?
Please also sent the laptop details like type number, ... so i can have a look.

"Request Content Error" message when going into HPDM Repository Management

hpdm-2.PNGThis error comes up whenever I click the Tools->Repository Management->Content button. All of the left sidebar options (easy tools configuration, easy tools settings, etc) that you see behind this error message show up as just completely blank/empty when I hit okay here.

My theory: it looks like the paths are strange. C:\inetpub\ftproot\/repository" is mentioned several times. That must be a typo somewhere right? There shouldn't be a path with a back and a forward slash in it, should there?

Can someone help me figure out where this is? I inherited the HPDM admin duties from someone else and was never formally trained on this stuff, so I apologize for having a lot of newb questions in advance.

How do I get a 2687W At Max Turbo (3.8GHZ) in a Z420/LJ449AV

$

I upgraded my Z420 from an E5 1650 to the max CPU supported 2687W and have proper/adequate cooling.  At maximum loading using CPU intensive work system is reporting that the CPU is running at 3.4GHZ and at no time do I observe the CPU operating above that - near to what the CPU should support of 3.8GHZ.  I recently flashed to the latest bios and it immediately recognized the CPU when installed.

Any ideas what I should check to get the max potential out of the CPU?  Right now CPU max temperature hit 57C so should have room to run up to 3.8

Workstation Z420 switches itself off although in operation mode

Hi all,

we have a Z 420 workstation (3 years old)  controlling a spectrometer working the whole day. Since some months we have the problem that the workstation sometimes switches itself off although the spectrometer is measuring (with all consequences like data loss).

We tried a BIOS update ((J61-0391) with no success.

Is that a known problem and are there any suggestions to resolve it?

Thanks a lot.

Start by checking In the bios that you have turbo enabled and PCIe Performance mode is disabled.

Also bear in mind that 3.8Ghz is the max speed when only using a single core. If you have 8 cores committed you will get 3.4Ghz.

This is a multiplier locked CPU so AFAIK no tweeking is possible to get e.g. 3.8Ghz on all cores.

thank you in advance
.

If you want to use the cards in SLI it will not work since:

- you need 2 of the same cards to use SLI (e.g. 2x GTX 1080)

- the Z440 only supports selected Quadro cards in SLI, not GTX cards

Baring any driver conflicts and PSU adequacy issues, you should be able to insert both cards in the machine and operate them on a standalone basis but cant really see any reason you would want to do this.

Generally it is better to go for a single more powerful GPU than to try SLI or dual cards.
