Thanks for the reply! I went into bios and increased the fan speed a little. I could then run a project 70-90% without going over 87°c I didnt want to run at 100% anyway. Now thats a quick fix solution.
Soon I will take it apart and clean real good. I alway remove old thermal paste but don't always put the right amount of new paste on lol. I only expect a small decrease in max temp but ever little bit helps.
My tj max is 103c so I set core temp overheat protection to 93c which is a little cooler than default of 5%. You answered my question perfectly thanks!
