Hi,
we want to update our HP Thin Clients T510 from Thin Pro 3 and 4 to ThinPro 5.2. We are using the HP Device Manager 4.7 SP3. The update works, but after the update the client is not detected anymore from the HP Device Manager. Here is what i do:
1. Send "Deploy Image" Task to the Thin Client.
2. The Thin Client reboots, and starts the Image Process from the Repository
3. After the Image Process is finished, the Thin Client reboots, and get a Profil from our HP Smart Zero Client Service.
4. Everthing on the Thin Client works!
Now, whats my Problem:
- The "Deploy Image" Task in the HPDM stays light blue (work in progress, "in bearbeitung").
- The Thin Client stays "off" in the Thin Client 3 Tab in the HPDM, and its doesn't switch to Tab 5.
- When i delete the Thin Client and do a rediscover, this Thin Client doesn't get recognised by the HPDM anymore.
- When i do a Factory Reset on the Thin Client manualy, then its does a reboot, gets our Profile from HP Smart Client Service again and shows again in the HPDM.
So what could be the Problem? I do not want to go to every Thin Client and do a manualy Factory reset after the Update.
