I just purchased (6/18/20) this desktop for a business that included Windows 10 Pro. When I started up the PC and attempted to activate the Windows 10 Pro OS, I received a notification that the product code had already been redeemed. The support assistant now tells me that my warranty is expired. I have a case with tech support regarding the owner domain that is incorrect and denies access to the administrator access. What are my options?

Long booting session
Hello,
Firstly I gonna to describe my problem :
When I normally power on my PC, the BIOS Boot takes around more than 1 minute to start on (with first HP logo on blackscreen; preloading of Bios settings) to finish on Windows Boot (which also nearly takes 10 seconds to the final desktop environment).
On the pictures below, I'll see all details which are important to diagnostizing.
This current problem appears for the first time when I connect two disks (one classic HDD (Sata 0) and one SDD (Sata 1)).
Tech specifications :
Windows 10.2004
Pentium G4400, 16 GB DDR4, 500 GB classic HDD and 240 GB SDD drives
Bios Version N01 Version 02.45 12/25/2019 (update done myself)
Thank you for your help.
Desktop Does not recognize ANY PCIe cards - HP ProDesk 600 G2 Win 7 pro x64
So I am doing an upgarde on an old HP proDesk 600 G2. Installed a new SSD. Installed a fresh Win 7 Pro x64. Loaded all drivers and upgraded the BIOS.
The issue I am having is I can not load and PCIe card into the computer and have Windows recognize it. All of the PCIe slots are checked in BIOS.
I have tried about 5 diffrent devices and none of them works.
Is there a setting in the BIOS I am missing or is the Motherboard bad?
Any help/thoughts appreciated.

Re: Desktop Does not recognize ANY PCIe cards - HP ProDesk 600 G2 Win 7 pro x64
A few things..... first I'd try setting the BIOS to factory defaults. I have not worked with these business class HP PCs so I don't know the BIOS in detail but I believe it is standard that HP uses that option in most if not all of its workstations and business class PCs so you can get back to correct basics. You can leave them at that thereafter or fine tune if you know what you are doing in BIOS, but only tune after you have things up and running properly.
There is a part of BIOS in workstations under the Security section where one can turn off specific motherboard chipsets/components and those by default are all turned on. You can see if some prior owner has turned off something. Also, there are settings for each PCIe slot that can be messed with and that might have happened. In workstations at least there is no "check" of a box for PCIe slots. There are multiple options and default is the one to use generally. Hopefully step 1 above should take care of these issues.
Finally, there are some BIOS settings that if not set properly to begin with can result in a clean OS build not installing some critical drivers and those end up being missing thereafter. This is why it is best to set BIOS to factory defaults before each clean install. Having storage set mistakenly to IDE rather than RAID + AHCI (or equivalent) in BIOS is an example that can bork a clean install.
Re: Desktop Does not recognize ANY PCIe cards - HP ProDesk 600 G2 Win 7 pro x64
Thanks for the reply.
I did try resetting the bios back to factory defaults and nothing happened.
I have already tried turning on/off specific PCIe ports. There are no option settings for each individual PCIe port.
Are you saying UNCHECK the box next to each PCIe port to get it to work?
The only option for IDE/RAID-AHCI is ‘Legacy Support Enable and Secure Boot Disable’ for Windows 7.
There is something I missing but cant seem to find it!!!

Well, that is nothing like with similar era workstations, so the prior input is of zero value...

HP EliteBook 8470p Laptop Hard disk errors
Hi,
My laptop is cycling between the 'repairing disk errors, this might take more than an hour' screen and trying to boot again, starting repairs and then back to the same screen. It has been doing this for many days without any progress and now it shows like ' hard disk error'.
My laptop is not under warranty period. So, I would like to know how can I fix this.

Hi:
You need this driver which will install both devices...
This package contains Intel Management Engine Software version 11.7.0.1068 for Microsoft Windows operating systems. Intel Management Engine Software version 11.7.0.1068 has support for HP Workstations with Intel Management Engine firmware 9.x and 11.x.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID's you posted...

solved = was under OS Security
- Data Execution Prevention—Enables or disables Data Execution Prevention mode in the processors. This mode prohibits code from running in pages that were set up as data pages, and prevents attacks such as buffer overflows. Operating system support is required for this feature.
- Intel Virtualization Technology (VTx)—Enables or disables Intel Virtualization Technology to increase workstation performance.
- Intel IO Virtualization—Enables or disables Virtualization Technology to increase workstation I/O performance.

Re: Deploy cached image for Thinpro via HPDM Not enough memory
Thanks for the response.
I am on 4.7.12 and I do have ThinPro 7, but I can not update an image wirelessly. I can update the image if the TC is connected via Ethernet. I have a case open with HP support number 5048607669, but have had no luck resolving the issue.
This is the error that I get.
2020-06-03 13:02:38 [Error code: 1074176] [Module: Agent] [Category: Unsupported task]
2020-06-03 13:02:38 [Error Details]: Deploy image using repository Master Repository. Failed to download TP71_SP34.dd.gz from /Repository/Images/TP71_SP34_1. Failed to execute DeployImage task. I was hoping to use a USB drive to store the image and then to use the USB drive's image to install to the TC. I know I can make a bootable image here and then send them to my home users, I was just hoping to do this over the air to avoid all of the USB drive creating and shipping that I would need to do.
Bad storage drivers for HP Z4 G4 (8JK46EA) - Loooong booting times
I bought a new HP Z4 G4 (8JK46EA) workstation three weeks ago. This is a Gen 2 version with the new Xeon W-2245 processor installed. Latest BIOS, 02.56 installed.
I noticed right away that booting the computer can take between 50 seconds up to 30 minutes. Sometimes it took 5 minutes, sometimes it took 15 minutes, iow this was randomly. After a couple of days i downloaded Windows 10 (2004) from MS and did a bootable stick. Everything installed as expected. I had downloaded drivers from HP and manually installed Chipset drivers, Storage drivers, LAN drivers and Audio drivers.
The same thing happened again, very long booting times randomly varying between 50 seconds up to 30 minutes. Now i started to clock everything, iow using a watch to see how long each boot took trying to find some kind of pattern. When Windows eventually loaded i used the Event Viewer to see what actually happened. It turned out that Windows that time had stalled for more than 15 minutes when loading iaStorE.sys. This driver is installed when installing the Storage drivers downloaded from HP. Uninstalling Intel(R) Virtual Raid on CPU from the computer and rolling back the driver for the Intel storage controller in the Device Manager solved the issue to 100%. The computer boots under 60 seconds every day.
Cut to the chase, Roger:
I did install Windows 10 (2004) two days ago. No Storage drivers installed this time though. Since i am curious (stupid?) i made a Restore point and installed the Storage drivers again. Now i noted that the Storage controller get´s the name Intel(R) C600+ /C220+ series chipset SATA RAID controller. Before installing the Storage drivers this time the name of the controller was Intel Chipset SATA RAID Controller. (The Storage driver soft pack is: sp99573.exe)
Can someone explain to me why a C600+ /C220+ series chipset SATA RAID Controller is installed on a computer with a C422 chipset?
The Z4 G4 does not have the C600 nor the C220 chipset, hence the question.
