Unable to reset expired user passwords on T510

We have a fleet of about 400 thin client devices and approximately 30 of them are T510s.   Recently we upgraded to XD 7.6 and as part of this I upgraded the firmware on the T510s and Smart Client Services to 5.2.1.29940.

Ever since then users are not able to change an expired password on this device (there is no issue in doing the same on the remaining 350 Wyse devices).

When a user attempts to login when their password has expired they are first prompted to enter in their current password and then a new one.  After entering the details a message will pop up saying that the Old Password was invalid and told to try again.  The error message includes a CharlotteBadCredentialsError statement.  There are no other issues with the system - if a user with a non-expired password attempts to login, they pass through fine.

I've been looking through the documentation for the Profile Manager, in case there is a setting out there, but I've not found anything that seems to be relevant to this.  I have seen suggested elsewhere that allowing Smart Card logins might be a fix, but this does not seem to be the case here.

If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
