We now have two xw8600 that have developed an intermittant power on issue. Every so often when the power buttoin is pushed, the fans and disks can be heard to spin up, and that is where everything stays...no beeps, no display messages, no POST. Incidence rate on the offending workstations is about 10%.
This state persists until stopped by pressing the power button which provides an instant power down. Restart has always been successful on both workstations to date. Our other xw8600 workstation have not exhibited this behavior to date.
