Xw8600 windows 7 install drivers missing

Hello!
I bought a used xw8600 from a friend a few months ago and had one of the OS drives failed in the raid array he had set up. Im trying to install windows 7 64bit on a single 1tb western digital CB drive. When I go to install from CD it gives me a message about a missing a usb/cd/dvd/hard drive driver. I have tried every LSI Logic 1068 driver and every SCSI driver I could get my hands on and nothing seems to work. 
When I use an unpacked lsi logic 1068 driver .exe it will put that driver on the list like it is the one i am looking for, but will say "no new device driver found" when I hit next. Not sure where to go from here. Any insight would be helpful, thank you in advance!
