And no, I don't mean that it 'just goes to sleep'. This has happened too many times for me to ignore any longer. Sometimes when I'm leaving after working late, or when this employee arrives in the morning, the desktop will be sitting there with a blank screen, totally unresponsive, with the fan roaring away at maximum speed.
Holding the power button for several seconds powers the unit off. But the SAME thing happens when it is powered back on! The only way to get out of this seems to be unplugging the power supply, waiting the few seconds for the capacitors to discharge, and then plugging it back in. Any ideas? This is the only one of these that we have that is doing this, and I can't tell if it's related to Windows Updates or not. It just seems to be random. Power is pretty consistent.
