Is there any reason (other than the obvious - but id be unlucky to have 4 dead sas disks!), that my sas disks arent being detected? During POST, I see "no drives detected" during the LSI detection stage. When I also ctrl+c to enter the lsi bios, I see no drives.
Im using the onboard sas ports 0-3, The 2.5" sas drives are installed into a 5,25 caddy and connected to the onboard ports using standard sata cables (couldnt find any evidence that different cables were needed).
I also have other disks connected to the sata ports, and also an ssd connected to a PCIe card in slot 7.
Ive had the system on for a while, turned off, and pulled all 4 disks, and I dont thinkg any of them have even spun up. Theres no heat, and none of the usual noise during bootup and turning off...
Am I missing something else, or am I jsut that unlucky!
Cheers
