Re: Change master in a HPDM master/slave setup

I assume that the Master Server and Child Servers are DM Repositories.

So the question turns to be: how to retire the original Master Repository Controller and make one of the Child Repository as Master.

Basically you have to:

1. Stop the old master Server
2. Install HPDM Master Repository Controller on one of your Child server
3. Remove the certificate files hpdmskey.keystore in ..\Server\bin from DM Server side to unlock the binding between HPDM Server and origiinal Master Repository Controller
4. Open the Repository Management dialog from DM Console. Remove the old Repository record and add the new one accordingly.
5. Test the new repository to check the connection.
6. Send payload related task for final check.
