Hi there..

I found an old PC.. and within there was an MS-7525 Version 1.0 Board. With an Celeron  E 5200 @ 2,5 Ghz.

Thats how far i know - an 775 Socket.

And i got an Intel Dualcore SL9AP @ 3,6 Ghz.

So as i wanted to install this Intel Core SL9AP .. (its at 800 Mhz FSB like the E5200)

But the System wont start up..

Can i get any answear please.. why he's not accepting this CPU?

I now updated the Bios.. with an Flash file i found.

This was called 5.31 Rev. A..

And with the Informationtext aside - for this Biosflash File

was standing:

Acccepted CPU Types:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe, Allendale)
  • Intel Pentium Dual-Core (Allendale)
  • Intel Pentium D (Smithfield, Presler)
  • Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition (Gallatin, Prescott 2M)
  • Intel Pentium 4 (Prescott, Prescott 2M, Cedar Mill)
  • Intel Celeron Dual-Core (Allendale)
  • Intel Celeron (Conroe-L)

So.. my intention was - that the SL9AP is an Presler Intel Pentium D..

Am i right with this?

I also deleted the CMOS many times now.. as shown in the Manual i found..

Can please someone give me a short explaination?

Thanks alot Friends ..

best regards

Goochaaa
