Thanks for the reply. I did find the service manual and a few pieces of documentation.
I did try the BIOS flash option first with a few different flash drives plugged into a few different places. Specifically, I chose to plug in to the USB ports connected directly to the MB. The issue I came across in the BIOS was that it only gave me the option to use the floppy drive. I couldn't find any reference as to why it only had that option and not the USB option so I figured it was the 1.23 BIOS possibly not having that option. I didn't see anything disabled or that needed to be enabled for USB devices and USB devices were being detected (keyboard, mouse, flash drives).
I ended up booting to DOS with a Hiren's boot CD and and ran the DOS flash update. The computer froze at 62% while updating the BIOS and I had to shut it off (waited probably about 2 hrs). Now I am stuck not being able to access the BIOS.
I can see that there is a jumper on the MB called Crisis Recovery jumper but I haven't seen any references as to how to use that. What I did find online about doing a BIOS recovery, involved powering on the workstation while holding the Windows key + the B key. I tried this method with the jumper on and with it off as well as jumping the top two vertical pins (it had already jumped the bottom two vertical pins)
So I am stuck needing to recover the BIOS before I can move on.
