Hello, I have a HP Z-420 E5-1650 with a samsung 850 pro in sata0 port and a WD in sata1 port. Both are sata3. I have 4 other internal sata connections that are sata 2s. All runs fine with windows 7 pro with updates. I have bios version 3.69. Problem is I bought a Asus internal optical drive and connected it to a sata2 port and the machine, bios or device managment doesn't recognize it. I have changes ports and sata cables, to no avail. Please help! Thank you.
