Question for you on the new psu you got. It seems to be long? Did it actually align and fit with the bottom lower metal tab where you lay the psu flat in the case? I MIGHT go ahead and get the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2 Power Supply myself. Basically the same one you have just 650w. I also have a GTX 1080 on order.

Also being such a small case. I want to clean up some wiring and only use what I need. Hence the full modular psu. Also if I decide to overclock the card. I want some more head room. I also have the older style Phoenix case. Current card in it is a 4GB EVGA GTX 960 FTW.

The space requirements are fine. However the screw holes did not line up properly thus I needed to use the front grill for some of the screws. I dont think it fit properly with the bottom metal tab. I tried a couple of times, just gave up and used the screws to secure the unit to the 4 screw locations on the case. Couple of screw locations  did line up. It is a big longer then the existing PSU, however fits nicely in the place. I also needed to disconnect the DVD sata cable becuase this PSU did not have a power cable to fit the micro power connector on the unit. The existing  unit has some sort of micro power connection. Since I do not use the DVD/CD I just disconnected the cable and left it there.

BTW...I am getting stable overclocking with the founders over 2 GHz. Its even more stable then some 3rd party versions with the so called advanced coolers. There are tons of videos demonstrating this.

They also released an update for the driver and now I get no ramp up of the fan. It is normal fan noise nothing like before   to distract me from the gameplay. BTW I am consistently getting a boost between 1840 to 1880 Mhz on my founder card without touching any modification after the new driver got installed.   This card has been amazing, and I can not be more satisfied.  The best part is the games have significantly improved and game play is awesome.

Thanks for the info. I am a bit confused though. Maybe I am reading to much into it or its just late. So, is the fitment off and you needed more screws? The 4 in the back don't align properly? Or you got all 4 in just fine? Can you possibly take a pic of the finished work from the outside back and maybe inside? Up close? Only if you get a chance or don't mind. It would be greatly appreciated. Kinda paranoid now about fitment. You are spooking me!
