Hi,
Recently had my HDD fail, I've since tried to replace it and attempt clean install of Win 7 Pro 64bit via CD.
During rebuild I get the message "Windows cannot be installed to disk 0 partition 3"
On startup it also states that RAID 0 is disabled even though this option has been chosen in the storage section of the BIOS. I have tried to enter the RAID config utility by pressing CTRL-I, to try and remedy this but it does not let me. I've also read articles where it describes MBR and EHCI issues with legacy drives, but am a little lost on this newer technology. Is there something I'm missing in the BIOS to kick start the build off? It appears to detect the hdd under a legacy drive.
New HDD is a Western Digital 1TB Sata drive (Model : WD10EZEX). Computer also has a mSATA SSD boot drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Yas
