I have a munber of these PS's and on all of them except 1, I can Enable the 'Virtualization Technology (VTx)' setting in the Bios, found on the 'Security' Menu under 'System Security'.
On this one machine only 2 items are changeable on this menu (all others are grayed out) - these are 'Data Execution Prevention' - Enabled and 'Embedded Security Device' - currently disabled.
The machine in question is now running KO1 v02.99 bios and it was running something earlier before I flashed to try and cure the problem - IE the options were grayed out before I flashed the bios.
I have tried adding a password and logging into the setup screen to see if the options would be available but this did not enable the options. I have also tried changing the status of the 'Embedded Security Device', but again this failed to change the problem.
I want to enable the Virtualization as I run VM machines on these PC's.
Any help and advice would be gratefully received.
