Halo, I want to upgrade my operating software to windows 10. The last time i tried to upgrade the upgrade failed saying "the installation failed in the safe_os phase with an error during apply_image operation", after it failed it reverted back to Windows 7 pro. wich came with my Hewlett-Packard computer. I then tried again to upgade to Windows 10 and it was now telling me that my operating software the windows 10 which it came with was not activated. i tried to activate it with the previous activation code which was working before, but the code no longer worked. i got in touch with one of Hewlett-Packard representative online and they send me copies of system recovery software for the Windows 7 pro which was supposed to fix the issue. I tried using the discs to fix the issues but the disk also failed to work. they are giving me a message saying "The system recovery media does not support this computer. you are not able to restore this system with the media" please help me, i just want to upgrade my computer to Windows 10.
